1. Executive Overview
WAuth Wallet ("WAuth," "the Extension") is a specialized Chrome browser extension developed by Weilliptic. It serves as a blockchain-anchored provenance layer, providing immutable receipts for user interactions with supported Artificial Intelligence (AI) services.
By utilizing WeilChain—a distributed ledger technology—WAuth ensures that prompts and AI-generated responses are cryptographically recorded for auditability, transparency, and personal record-keeping.
2. Data Collection & Scope
WAuth operates on a strict Privacy-by-Design principle. Data collection is disabled by default and only occurs when a user explicitly activates the recording toggle.
2.1 Authorized Data Capture
When the recording toggle is enabled, the Extension captures the following interaction metadata:
- Identity: Your unique WAuth wallet identifier.
- Interaction Content: The full text of your submitted queries (prompts) and the resulting AI-generated responses.
- Contextual Metadata: The source domain (e.g., chatgpt.com, gemini.google.com), the specific AI model version used (e.g., gpt-5), and a high-precision timestamp.
2.2 Explicit Exclusions
WAuth is engineered to ignore all non-AI web activity. We do not collect:
- General browsing history or passwords.
- Financial, payment, or sensitive personal files.
- Data from any website not explicitly listed as a "Supported AI Service."
3. The Consent Model: Explicit Opt-In
WAuth utilizes a session-based Opt-In Model.
- Active Consent: Users must manually trigger the recording toggle within the extension interface for each session they wish to audit.
- Instant Termination: Deactivating the toggle stops all data capture immediately. No background or retroactive data collection is performed.
4. Infrastructure and Ledger Persistence
To ensure high availability and data integrity, interaction receipts are transmitted to WeilChain.
- Distributed Storage: WeilChain nodes are hosted across a redundant multi-cloud architecture including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
- Immutable Design: Because WeilChain is a distributed ledger, data written to the chain is persistent by design to maintain an untamperable audit trail.
5. Ecosystem Compatibility
WAuth currently supports interaction recording for the following platforms:
- OpenAI (ChatGPT)
- Google (Gemini)
- Anthropic (Claude)
- Sarvam AI
- LangChain-based native applications
Note: WAuth acts as a "passive observer" within your browser. We do not transmit your data back to these AI providers; we only record the existing exchange to WeilChain.
6. Data Sharing and Governance
Weilliptic does not sell, rent, or monetize your personal interaction data.
Access is restricted to:
- The User: You maintain primary access to your interaction history via the WAuth interface.
- Infrastructure Providers: Cloud hosts (AWS/GCP/Azure) provide the hardware but lack application-level access to decrypted content.
- Legal Necessity: Disclosure may occur only if mandated by a valid legal process or governmental request.
7. Your Rights and Data Retention
- Retention: Data is retained on WeilChain as long as your account is active to provide a continuous audit log.
- Data Rights: Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
- Technical Constraints: While we honor all valid deletion requests, please note that ledger-based deletions are subject to the technical functional constraints of blockchain persistence.
8. Security Measures
We employ enterprise-grade security, including encrypted transit (TLS) and industry-standard protocols for node management. While no system is impenetrable, Weilliptic is committed to the continuous monitoring and protection of the WeilChain ecosystem.
